Recognition–Reflection Framework – Visual Representation

Ekaterina Eines · First published 8 October 2025

Zenodo record description / Copied for this site

This record contains the original visual representation of the Recognition–Reflection Framework, developed during a master’s research project in special education in 2025. The matrix brings selected concepts from Axel Honneth’s theory of recognition into relation with Anne-Lise Løvlie Schibbye’s relational dimensions of recognition as a structure for reflection and qualitative analysis.

The figure is published separately to support citation, teaching, presentations, and scholarly discussion. It documents the early visual form of the framework. The framework’s theoretical basis, proposed applications, epistemic status, and analytical limitations are presented more fully in Recognition-Reflection Framework, Version 3.0 (Eines, 2026).

The figure should not be understood as a validated measurement instrument, diagnostic tool, or standardised assessment scale.
