KBP Learning Circle
Zenodo record description / Copied for this site
The KBP Learning Circle is a conceptual model of learning as a circular and context-dependent process in which involvement, feedback, reflective judgment, epistemic understanding, learning development, and community interact.
The model was developed during a master’s research project in special education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2025 and was informed by theoretical material analysed in a narrative literature study. It visualises movement from reaction and potential bias toward reflection, balance, and revised understanding.
The model is related to the Recognition–Reflection Framework and the KBP Recognition Circle and forms part of the broader conceptual development concerning knowledge-based practice, recognition, reflection, and professional learning. It is a conceptual and reflective model rather than an independently validated learning or assessment instrument.
