It focuses on the relation between evaluation, classification, and documentation, and describes a situation in which identifiable elements are present, while the relations necessary to reconstruct an evaluative sequence are not fully identifiable.

The note is descriptive and analytical in character. It does not establish causal claims, normative judgments, or legal conclusions. The formulation may be used to describe situations in which evaluative relations are not fully reconstructable from available documentation.

The analytical formulation draws on concepts developed within the criteriology framework (Eines, 2026e–i) and may be understood as an application of these analytical distinctions.
